We carefully and generously apply three coats of Fiddes hard wax oil to the rustic weathered timber in our workshop, enhancing all the natural features and wood grain of both timber types.

Oil not only makes the timber look great but it is also very durable. Getting the correct colour for your furniture is one of the most important parts of ordering and we want to make sure you have the opportunity to get the right colour to suit your home.

  • All of our rustic weathered timbers are reclaimed and sourced from the UK
  • We purposefully leave small cracks and imperfections in the timber as we feel it adds our style and character to the product.
  • The timber is air dried in our warm workshop for a minimum of 2 years prior to being used. This ensures the timber is perfect for furniture and moisture free.
  • The Fiddes hard wax oil finish has a two tone effect on rustic weathered timber as the wax attracts to the courser grain.
