The Bedford and Bedford XL Console Tables
Two C-shaped steel frames screw to the underside of the top. It takes about 5 minutes and needs only a screwdriver. The pictures loop, so watch each one through before you pick up the parts.
How it goes together. Each end of the console stands on one C-shaped steel frame: an upright at the back and a foot on the floor that points forward into the room. A plate at the top, the same size as on our Arundel console, screws into the underside of the timber top with 3 screws. There are no pilot holes, so you choose exactly where each frame sits, anywhere from 5 to 15 cm in from the end.
