Delivery Information

At Acumen Collection, we understand that buying furniture online can feel daunting. That's why we aim to make the delivery process as straightforward and transparent as possible, keeping you informed every step of the way.

Lead Times & Production Updates

Many of our furniture pieces are handmade to order in your chosen size and finish.

We work hard to keep the lead times displayed on our product pages accurate and up to date. However, as demand can fluctuate throughout the year, there may occasionally be periods where our workshop experiences higher-than-expected order volumes.

For this reason, we kindly ask customers to allow up to two additional weeks beyond the published lead time before considering an order overdue.

Throughout production, we'll keep you updated as your order progresses through our workshop. You'll receive notifications when your order:

  • Enters production

  • Moves into our finishing department

  • Is ready for dispatch

Once your order has passed final quality checks and leaves our workshop, our delivery partners will take over delivery communications.

Need Your Order By A Specific Date?

If you have a particular deadline, such as a house move, renovation project, event or special occasion, please let us know before placing your order or include the details in the Order Notes section during checkout.

We'll always do our best to accommodate specific delivery requirements and can often advise whether a target date is achievable before you place your order.

Specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed in writing by our team.


Large Furniture Deliveries

Most dining tables and larger furniture items are delivered using Proovia's professional two-man delivery service.

Before Delivery

Once your order enters Proovia's delivery network, they will contact you directly regarding your delivery.

The day before delivery, you'll receive:

  • Confirmation that your order is scheduled for delivery

  • An estimated delivery window, typically between 1 and 3 hours

On The Day Of Delivery

You'll receive:

  • A refined delivery time window

  • A live GPS tracking link for the delivery vehicle

This allows you to see exactly where the vehicle is and monitor its progress towards your address, giving you the flexibility to continue with your day without waiting around unnecessarily.

Most two-man deliveries are completed on the next working day following dispatch, with Saturday deliveries available in many areas.

Please note that our delivery service does not include assembly or packaging removal.

If there are any access restrictions that may affect delivery, such as narrow staircases, restricted parking, apartment access, lifts or other obstacles, please let us know before dispatch.


Small Parcel Deliveries

Smaller items that do not require a two-man delivery service are shipped using trusted next-day courier networks, including:

  • FedEx

  • APC Overnight

Once your order has been dispatched, we'll send you tracking information so you can monitor the progress of your delivery.

Most parcel deliveries are completed on the next working day following dispatch.

Delivery Surcharge Areas

The following postcode areas may incur an additional delivery charge, including on products advertised with free delivery:

AB, IV, PH, PA, DD, TR, PL, TQ, CA, TD, EH, G, DG, KA, ML, FK, KY, KW, LL (excluding LL13-LL14) and SY23, SY24 and SY25.

Certain Highland and remote Scottish locations may require special delivery arrangements.

If you're unsure whether a surcharge applies to your address, please contact us before ordering.


Delivery Restrictions

Delivery restrictions may apply to:

  • Northern Ireland

  • Republic of Ireland

  • Offshore islands

  • Certain remote locations outside mainland UK

If you're located in one of these areas, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm delivery availability and provide an accurate shipping quotation.

Large commercial or trade orders may occasionally require specialist delivery arrangements. Where this applies, our team will contact you before dispatch to discuss the most suitable delivery method.
