The Wood

Our handmade to order rustic shelves are made from the highest quality kiln dried Scandinavian pine boards in our Cumbria based workshop.

• Each piece of wood is carefully selected and hand finished to a very high standard.
• All our wood comes from FSC certified suppliers meaning the wood is taken from sustainably managed forests.
• The kiln drying process ensures the wood has the perfect moisture content for in door furniture use.
• This includes hand sanding and finishing with two generous coats of 'Fiddes' supreme wax
• We can also add optional metal end bands to each end of the shelf.
