The Warwick Console Table

Two steel frames screw to the underside of the top, then the lower shelf slides through both frames and screws to them. It takes about 5 minutes and needs only a screwdriver. The pictures loop, so watch each one through before you pick up the parts.

How it goes together. Each end of the console stands on one square steel frame with a rail near the floor. A flat plate on top of each frame screws into the underside of the top with 2 screws. The lower shelf is the same length as the top: it slides through both frames, rests on the two rails and overhangs each end like the top, fixed with 2 screws at each frame. The top and the lower shelf are both centred on the frames. There are no pilot holes, so you choose where the frames sit, anywhere from 5 to 15 cm in from the end.
Your console length

The pictures follow the length you pick.
