Can I have a length that isn't listed?

Yes. Choose the next length up, then give us the exact length in the options above and we will cut the desktop and shelves to it.

Which desk height should I choose?

75 cm is standard desk height for an office chair. 85 cm and 95 cm suit a stool or a standing desk.

Should I choose the 44 cm or 66 cm desktop?

66 cm gives a full working depth for a monitor and keyboard. 44 cm keeps the desk slim for a hallway, alcove or a laptop. Choose either in the options above.

Does it need assembling?

Yes. The pipe frame screws together by hand. Fixings and assembly instructions are included.

Can I see the wax finishes first?

Yes. Timber samples are available to order, which helps if you are matching existing furniture.

Sturdy steel pipes and matching cast fittings serve as the structure for our industrial pipe office desk, while weathered or modern finished wood planks provide support for books and a workspace for the industrious.

Support structure is constructed from 1.35 inch diameter chunky furniture grade steel pipes in a range of rust proof finishes.

Finish 1: Antique Black offers a smooth clear coat of varnish over an anthracite grey finish.
Finish 2: Matte Black offers a powder coated black finish.

Each finish comes with matching cast fittings at the joints.

The shelves are made from 38mm pine and come in 5 different premium Fiddes wax colours.

The timber is finished in a Rustic Weathered or Modern Planed style.

Rustic weathered shelves are reclaimed and sourced from the UK.
The reclaimed timber is air dried in our warm workshop for a minimum of 2 years prior to being used. This ensures the timber is perfect for furniture and moisture free.
Modern planed shelves are new Scandinavian pine sourced from the UK.
The modern planed finish is fine, even and straight grained and has none of the imperfections of rustic weathered timber.
