1. I have high skirting boards can I raise the height of the bottom shelf?
Answer: Our pipe kits are designed to tolerate standard skirting boards sizes up to 13cm height and 2cm depth from wall. If your skirting boards are larger than this please let us know and we will send you a quote for pipe extensions below the bottom shelf.

2. I have a plug socket or light switch that I believe one of the shelves will clash with. How do I avoid them?
Answer: Please send a rough sketch of the plug or light switches position on your wall, including height from floor and distance from edge of any wall you are positioning the shelving unit next to. We will recommend a solution, i.e. usually pipe extensions below the bottom shelf.

3. Can the shelving unit be fixed to a plasterboard wall?
Answer: Yes, however we only supply fixings for masonry so we would recommend using a professional tradesman to install the shelving unit using the most appropriate fixings. If possible try to ensure the fixing plates are screwed into the stud for extra strength.

Utilising a simple shorter threaded design than standard plumbing pipe. Our pipe kits are super easy to assemble and have no threads visible when connected. They come in an Antique Black or Matte black finish with matching cast iron fittings at the joint.

End Bands
As an optional extra our workshop can add end bands to each shelf. Our customers find these enhance the industrial vibe of the overall shelving unit.
End bands are steel straps that go around original scaffold boards. They have the words "SUPPORT EVERY 1.2m MAX" stamped into them.
Wax Finishes
We hand finish each shelf with a range of Fiddes Supreme Wax Polishes. Been environmentally friendly these blends of waxes naturally enhance the beauty of the wood we use.
