Reclaimed Elm (Free Upgrade) Rustic Pine

Reclaimed Elm (Free Upgrade): Our recommended timber. A dense hardwood with decades of history in every board — fine, tight, straight grain with small dark pin knots. The considered choice, at the same price as pine as a free upgrade. Cut in small batches — popular sizes go fast, so check availability below.
Rustic Pine: FSC certified kiln-dried Scandinavian redwood. Rustic Weathered carries the sweep of arced Swedish saw marks across the face; Modern Planed removes them. Warm honey tone, round dark knots.

Visible grain variation, knots, and natural color shifts

The Acumen Collection Promise

Returns

See our warranty and returns policy for cancellations and returns.

25-Year Guarantee

Our office desks are made to last for generations, but if anything falls short, we’ve got you covered with our 25-year manufacturing guarantee.

2-Year Wood Movement Warranty

A very small % of our rustic tables tables may want to shift over time, but with our Wood Movement Warranty we guarantee you'll get ultimate long-term value from your desk.

What Makes This Table Unique?

The Urban Rustic Bench is crafted from solid, reclaimed pine, no veneers, no fillers, so every desktop celebrates deep knots, weathered patina, and the coarse grain that only 24 months of air‑drying can reveal.

Its heavy‑duty 80 × 40 mm box‑section legs, available in satin black, provide a striking industrial counterpoint to the warm timber top. This fusion of rugged wood and precision‑finished metal brings a bold, versatile anchor to spaces ranging from urban studios to country retreats.

Kiln Dried

Rich, Aged Timber

We only source the most beautiful reclaimed kiln dried timber to reduce moisture below 12%, ensuring exceptional stability and minimal movement. The 45 mm or 70mm thick boards reveal deep grain, authentic knots, and weathered patina, So every desktop is one‑of‑a‑kind and free from seasonal warping.

Knots and Grain

Deep‑Penetrating Wax Seal

We apply two coats of Fiddes Supreme Wax, then a clear matte hard wax oil which penetrates wood cells to amplify clarity and deepen colour. This gives you a low‑sheen, water‑resistant barrier that repels spills, resists daily wear, and is simple to refresh as it develops an elegant patina. Maintenance is effortless, periodic re‑waxing keeps your desk looking showroom‑fresh.

The perfect accompaniment

Rustic Shelves

Why not complete the look with our rustic shelves, expertly handcrafted from PEFC-certified UK wood. Designed to perfectly complement your Urban Loft Industrial Office Desk, these shelves add both style and sustainable storage to your office. Each piece showcases the natural beauty and character of responsibly sourced timber, making your space as functional as it is environmentally conscious.
