Our handmade to order Rustic Shelves are made from reclaimed scaffold boards in our Bedfordshire based workshop. Each piece of wood is carefully selected and hand finished to a very high standard. This includes sanding, finishing with two generous coats of 'Fiddes' supreme wax and adding optional metal end bands to each end of the shelf.

RETURNS

If you are not 100% happy with your order you can return it within 30 days with no questions asked.

Solid 38mm Boards with Architectural Character, Each shelf is built from reclaimed pine scaffold boards, planed to 38mm thickness and finished to expose saw marks, nail impressions, and historical grain shifts. Unlike mass-produced shelving, every board is seasoned and kiln-dried below 12% moisture for dimensional stability. No warping, no shortcuts just solid timber with proven provenance.

Pipe Bracket System Rated to 35kg

ENGINEERED FOR LOAD

Each shelf includes two industrial pipe brackets with concealed fixings and a 35kg load rating. Brackets can be installed above or beneath the timber, allowing you to tailor the look to your space. Available in antique black or matte black powder coat, these fittings lock the shelf securely to masonry or plasterboard with included hardware.

Low-Sheen Protection that Deepens with Age

FINISHED WITH FIDDES SUPREME WAX

We hand-apply two coats of Fiddes Supreme Wax to each board, sealing the grain and enhancing tone variation across the surface. The finish resists spills and abrasion without gloss or glare, building a dry-touch patina that gets richer over time. No varnish, no resin just breathable, renewable wax.
