5 Shelf Floor Mounted Unit

Build it upright, in the place it will live, from the floor up, then fix the top to the wall. The pictures show the unit from the front and loop, so watch each one through before you pick up the parts.

How it stands. Each leg stands on a flat base flange. The two outer legs carry on past the television shelf and turn back to the wall at the top, where each finishes in a wall flange. The floor carries the weight and the wall fixing stops the unit tipping.

Both finishes are rust proof and protect the steel against corrosion. The difference is the look.

Black powder coatA sleek, even black powder coated finish.

Antique blackA smooth clear coat of varnish over raw steel, leaving an anthracite grey finish with a more rugged, raw look.

How does it fix to the wall?

The unit stands on the floor on flat base flanges. Each outer leg turns back to the wall and ends in a wall flange that is fixed with four screws. On 3 leg units the middle leg stops at the television shelf. We recommend fixing into solid masonry.

How hard is it to put together?

The pipes, couplings and flanges screw together by hand, one shelf at a time, from the floor up.

Can I have a different size or number of shelves?

Yes. Choose the next length up, then give us the exact size in the options above and we will make it to that. For a plain pipe shelving unit in any size, use our 3D designer.

How far apart are the shelves?

There is 37 cm of clear space between the two lower shelves. The bay for the television is about 69 cm high.

Can I see the wax finishes first?

Yes. Order timber samples before you choose, which we recommend if you are matching existing furniture.
