Looking after it
- Each shelf holds up to 35 kg, spread evenly. Keep the heaviest things close to the brackets.
- Dust with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Blot spills straight away and wipe with a clean, damp cloth.
- Do not use chemical cleaners, abrasives or furniture polish on the timber or the steel.
- Check the screws are snug after the first few weeks, as the timber settles.

Seven finishes, one board
Each finish goes on in two coats and is buffed by hand. The saw-mill marks on the top face catch the wax, so every finish has two tones.

Both are FSC certified kiln-dried Scandinavian redwood, made in our Cumbria workshop. The difference is the surface.
Rustic
The top face keeps the original markings from the Swedish circular saw mill. Each board is cut to size and sanded smooth to the touch, and the rustic areas take the wax for a two-tone effect.

Measure the wall, allow a little clearance, and type your exact length in the chooser. We cut your shelf to it in our workshop.

Every shelf is made to order in our Cumbria workshop, usually in 3 to 4 weeks.

FSC certified kiln-dried Scandinavian redwood, chosen board by board for straight grain and character.
- Cut to your size
The top face keeps the original markings from the Swedish circular saw mill. We cut the board to your length.
- Sanded smooth
Sanded smooth to the touch, keeping as much rustic character as we can.
- Waxed by hand
Two coats of Fiddes supreme wax. The rustic areas take the wax for a two-tone effect.

Your shelf, two brackets (plus any extras you add), and the screws and plugs for the wall you chose: 7 mm plugs and screws for brick, metal self-drill fixings for plasterboard.

Our manufacturing guarantee runs for 25 years from delivery, with a 2-year timber warranty (terms apply).
You can cancel within 14 days of ordering. Because every shelf is made to order, a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply, and once production has started the order may be non-refundable.
