The Grasmoor is our V-frame desk. A solid wood top sits on two steel frames that are widest under the top and taper in towards the floor, so the desk looks lighter on its feet than a square frame.

Each leg is a closed frame of steel box section with sides that slope inwards to a short bar at the floor. The frames sit across the ends of the desk and keep the front open for your chair.

Made to your size

• Length: fourteen lengths from 90 to 285 cm, or give us an exact length and we cut to it.
• Depth: 66 cm as standard. Other depths from 60 cm are made on request.
• Height: 75 cm with the 38 mm top, 76 cm with the 50 mm top.

Timber and finish

• Top: solid pine, 38 mm or a chunkier 50 mm, in FSC certified kiln-dried Scandinavian redwood.
• Surface: rustic weathered, with the saw marks and grain left to show, or modern planed for a smooth, even top.
• Wax: two coats of Fiddes wax applied by hand, in seven finishes: Clear Wax, Lime Wax, Grey Wash, Antique Oak, Forest Brown, Rugger Brown and Jacobean.

V-frame legs

• 70 x 25 mm steel box section.
• Matte black powder coat, or a clear coat over brushed steel.
• The legs arrive boxed (70 x 50 x 20 cm, 15 kg) with fixings and instructions.

Extras

• A 75 mm cable grommet in the desktop.
• Steel end bands on the two front corners, embossed "Support every 1.2m max", to give the desk a more industrial look.

Make it a set

The Grasmoor desk shares its leg design with the Grasmoor dining table, so the two sit well together in an open-plan room. For the wall above, add rustic shelves on suspense brackets or lipped metal brackets, and for storage the office pedestal on castors rolls underneath. Order them together and we wax everything to match.

The Office Desk Table is crafted from solid wood and finished to preserve its raw, organic character. As part of that honest approach, you may notice:

• Visible grain variation, knots, and natural color shifts
  
• Small cracks or surface texture from the drying and aging process
  
• Minor imperfections that reflect the material’s natural origin

These features are not considered defects and are not covered under warranty. Instead, they’re part of what makes each Blencathra table distinct—a piece shaped by nature, not uniformity.
