Rest assured, while the stools bear the beautiful marks and patina of their age, they have been meticulously restored to working order. As a result, you'll receive a sturdy stool that exudes character and charm, embodying the timeless allure of bygone eras.
All of our miniature stools are unique and have had their own practical journey through life. We are told that most will have been used by children to sit on in Chinese schools. Finish wise, the lighter or bleached look stool has spent most of its useful life outdoors with exposure to the sun. On the other hand, our darker brown stools are indicative of stools that have spent most of their useful life indoors with less sun and more moisture in the atmosphere.
The rustic wear on the stools extends to indentations, scratches, repairs, historically treated woodworm holes/tracks, paint splashes and areas of scorching. We feel this adds character to our stools but in case you specifically do not want any of these features please add a note in the order note section on the cart page and we will endeavour to send you your preferred style.

DELIVERY
- 3-5 working days | Free UK mainland delivery
- We use UPS or Fedex next day services for all rustic stools.
- Fully tracked delivery service, we send an email out confirming tracking number.
- Our packing teams work on Tuesday and Thursday so delivery will usually be on a Wednesday or Friday.
PACKAGING
- All orders are carefully wrapped with bubble wrap and shipped in appropriately sized boxes.
