DESCRIPTION

The Fairfield - Rustic Industrial Console Table

First console table pictured is 90cm (H) x 20cm (D) x 100cm (L) Forest Brown / rustic weathered / black frame.

Handmade to order and made to measure rustic console table.

Available in a wide range of sizes, timber & steel finishes. Made from kiln dried chunky Scandinavian pine, each plank is carefully selected and hand finished to a very high standard. This includes sanding and finishing with two generous coats of 'Fiddes' supreme wax.

The board can hold up to 25kg.

Do you have a chunky skirting board?

No problem... add the thickness of your skirting board in the text box on the cart page and we’ll create a recessed lip between the board and the steel frame. This will result in your board being flush to your wall and the frame being flush to your skirting board.

Prefer timber samples before you order?

Desk Length (Made‑to‑Measure):

90 cm • 105 cm • 120 cm • 135 cm • 150 cm • 165 cm • 180 cm • 195 cm • 210 cm • 225 cm • 240 cm • 255 cm • 270 cm • 285 cm • 300 cm

Desktop Thickness:

45 mm (chunky)
70 mm (chunky joist)

Select the perfect length for your space and choose between a 45 mm top or a commanding 70 mm surface—each cut to order for a flawless fit

The Console Table is crafted from solid kiln dried pine and finished to preserve its raw, organic character. As part of that honest approach, you may notice:

Visible grain variation, knots, and natural color shifts
Small cracks or surface texture from the drying and aging process
Minor imperfections that reflect the material’s natural origin

These features are not considered defects and are not covered under warranty. Instead, they’re part of what makes each Blencathra table distinct—a piece shaped by nature, not uniformity.

What Makes This Table Unique?

The Fairfield Console Table is crafted from solid, reclaimed pine, no veneers, no fillers, so every desktop celebrates deep knots, weathered patina, and the coarse grain that only 24 months of air‑drying can reveal.

Its heavy‑duty 80 × 40 mm box‑section legs, available in satin black, provide a striking industrial counterpoint to the warm timber top. This fusion of rugged wood and precision‑finished metal brings a bold, versatile anchor to spaces ranging from urban studios to country retreats.

Kiln Dried

Rich, Aged Timber

We only source the most beautiful
kiln dried, chunky Scandinavian pine to reduce moisture below 12%, ensuring exceptional stability and minimal movement. The 45 mm or 70mm thick boards reveal deep grain, authentic knots, and weathered patina, So every desktop is one‑of‑a‑kind and free from seasonal warping.

Knots and Grain

Deep‑Penetrating Wax Seal

We apply two coats of Fiddes Supreme Wax, then a clear matte hard wax oil which penetrates wood cells to amplify clarity and deepen colour. This gives you a low‑sheen, water‑resistant barrier that repels spills, resists daily wear, and is simple to refresh as it develops an elegant patina. Maintenance is effortless, periodic re‑waxing keeps your desk looking showroom‑fresh.

The perfect accompaniment

Rustic Shelves

Each piece showcases the natural beauty and character of responsibly sourced timber, making your space as functional as it is environmentally conscious.
