Is carefully and generously applied to kiln-dried PEFC certified rustic pine shelves in our workshop. This enhances all the natural features and wood grain of both our rustic weathered and modern planed timber types.
3. Furniture Grade Pipes & Fittings
Utilising a simple shorter threaded design than standard plumbing pipe. Our pipe kits are super easy to assemble and have no threads visible when connected. They come in an Antique Black or Matte black finish with matching cast iron fittings at the joint.

Our steel pipes come in an Antique Black or Matte black finish with matching cast iron fittings at the joint.
Antique Black offers a smooth clear coat of varnish over an anthracite grey finish.

Our rustic weathered timber has a rough sawn finish resulting in a courser grain with more structure and definition.
Our modern planed timber is given a planed finish resulting in a sleek modern finish.
End Bands
As an optional extra our workshop can add end bands to each shelf. Our customers find these enhance the industrial vibe of the overall shelving unit.
End bands are steel straps that go around original scaffold boards. They have the words "SUPPORT EVERY 1.2m MAX" stamped into them.
Wax Finishes
We hand finish each shelf with a range of Fiddes Supreme Wax Polishes. Been environmentally friendly these blends of waxes naturally enhance the beauty of the wood we use.
