CONSOLE TABLE 45-50MM THICKNESS

Kiln dried sustainably sourced scandinavian pine is used to create a beautiful table top.

BOX SECTION STEEL FRAME

Our box section steel frames are meticulously hand welded using high-quality British steel and are available in two stunning finishes.

Choose from raw steel with visible welds finished in rust proof clear lacquer or powder coated black.

FIXINGS - SCREWS AND WALL

You will receive a fixing pack specific to your frame type with your order. We also offer an optional L bracket that can be fitted to the underneath of the table to fix to a wall.

EACH CONSOLE TABLE CAN HOLD 25KG

The Blencathra is our X-frame console table: a 45 mm solid pine top on two bold steel X frames, made to your exact length in our Cumbrian workshop.

The frames are 40 × 40 mm steel box section, welded by hand. They can sit anywhere from 5 to 25 cm in from each end of the top; most people go 10 cm in.

The top is FSC certified, kiln-dried Scandinavian redwood in rustic weathered or modern planed, finished by hand in one of seven waxes. The frame comes in raw steel with a clear lacquer, or matte black powder coat.

Lengths from 80 to 300 cm, 30 or 35 cm deep, 70, 80 or 90 cm high including the top. Each console holds up to 25 kg.

We carefully and generously apply two coats of Premium Fiddes Wax polish to all our wooden products.

7 wax finishes to choose from.
Water resistant | Up to 30mins
The wax finish enhances all the natural features and wood grain whilst also protecting the timber.
We recommend sprucing up your shelves every 1-2 years with one of our wax care packs to keep them looking tip top!

Prefer Samples Before you order?

Alternatively, if you are looking to colour match to existing furniture please contact us direct to discuss this. If you provide us with images of the furniture you would like us to colour match to we can let you know which of our wax finishes is the closest match.

Rustic weathered offers a coarser grained finish with areas where the wax grabs. There is a slight concave side/hump on our rustic weathered table tops but they are still practical for every day use.

Modern planed provides a sleek smooth perfectly flat finish that adds a contemporary sleek touch to the console table.

We use 40mm x 40mm box section section welded by hand, which means we ensure welds penetrate the steel, making it unbreakable.

The frame can be finished in a raw steel with clear lacquer or matte black powder coat for +£15.

Extremely robust and hard wearing - these console tables are built to last.

A small L shaped bracket can be supplied as an optional extra to enable a fixing to your wall should you need some extra stability.
