Our box section steel frames are meticulously hand welded using high-quality British steel and are available in two stunning finishes.

Choose from raw steel with visible welds finished in rust proof clear lacquer or powder coated black.

FIXINGS - SCREWS AND WALL

You will receive a fixing pack specific to your frame type with your order. We also offer an optional L bracket that can be fitted to the underneath of the table to fix to a wall.

Introducing the Bedford XL - Rustic Industrial Console Table, a statement piece handcrafted to order in our Cumbria workshop.

Designed to impress, this console table is available in two standard depths of 22cm and 30cm, providing options to suit your specific needs and preferences.

We prioritise sustainability and ethical practices, which is why we source our materials exclusively from the UK. The table is meticulously constructed using 45mm kiln dried PEFC rough sawn pine, guaranteeing both durability and an authentic rustic appeal.

To elevate its charm, we offer a range of six premium wax finishes, allowing you to customise the final look to perfectly complement your interior.

The frame of the Bedford XL console table is flawlessly finished with a raw steel clear lacquer or a black powder coating, providing a blend of rustic and industrial design elements. If you desire a different color from the RAL palette, we are pleased to accommodate your specific requests.

We carefully and generously apply two coats of Premium Fiddes Wax polish to all our wooden products.

Alternatively, if you are looking to colour match to existing furniture please contact us direct to discuss this. If you provide us with images of the furniture you would like us to colour match to we can let you know which of our wax finishes is the closest match.

Rustic weathered offers a coarser grained finish with areas where the wax grabs. There is a slight concave side/hump on our rustic weathered table tops but they are still practical for every day use.

Modern planed provides a sleek smooth perfectly flat finish that adds a contemporary sleek touch to the console table.

We use 25 x 25mm box section section welded by hand, which means we ensure welds penetrate the steel, making it unbreakable.

The frame can be finished in a raw steel with clear lacquer or matte black powder coat for +£15.

Extremely robust and hard wearing - these console tables are built to last.

A small L shaped bracket can be supplied as an optional extra to enable a fixing to your wall should you need some extra stability.

We use Fedex or UPS for tables upto 150cm and Parcelforce for our longer tables.
A shipped notification email including tracking information will be sent as soon as your order is dispatched.

PACKAGING

All orders are carefully wrapped with cardboard with additional corner protection and fragile tape added to avoid damage in transit.

RETURNS

You can cancel within 14 days of delivery. As each piece is made to your measurements, a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply.
Any inbound and outbound shipping costs are covered by the customer for change of mind.

OVERSEAS SHIPPING

All orders placed from outside of the UK will be subject to longer lead times and attract a delivery charge. This is calculated at checkout however if you have a bulk order feel free to contact us direct for a bespoke shipping quote as the rates can vary significantly in short periods of time.

We pay import VAT on behalf of the customer.

FAQs

The X frame and trapezium make a statement. The square frame and C frame are neater for narrow hallways. The two-tier Warwick adds a lower shelf for storage, and Bowness is all timber with no steel.

Order £2 wood samples and see the seven waxes in your own light. We send them within 3–5 working days.

The top is 45mm kiln-dried pine, sanded and finished by hand with two generous coats of Fiddes Supreme Wax. The frame is 25 × 25mm steel square section with a 2.5mm wall, welded by hand, finished in raw steel with a clear lacquer or matte black.

Yes we can. Please contact us with your bespoke requirement and we will be happy to offer a free quote.

Yes we offer a sample service. Please email us pictures, preferably in day light, of your furniture you would like us to colour match to and we will send you some small wood samples in the post.

The table top and legs are self assembly and as such arrive in separate parcels. Its possible, depending on size and weight of the table top that we may use different couriers, however we do try to ensure both pieces are delivered on the same day.

The console legs take around 5 minutes to attach to the table top using the fixings provided.

Although all the materials to manufacture this piece are in stock this item is handmade to order. The lead time therefore reflects that. See top of page for lead time info.

Yes. Every console comes with a 25-year manufacturing guarantee and a 2-year timber warranty.

If you wish to return your items you must contact us within 14 days of purchase. If the Goods require collection, we will collect them from the address to which they were delivered. However, you may be charged with a restocking fee. Your refund will be processed after the product is returned to our warehouse and thoroughly inspected. We will contact you to arrange a suitable time for collection;

Yes we do, we also accept bespoke commissions. Simply search for the product name and any similar products will appear in the search results. If you require a bespoke piece to match feel free to contact us to discuss and request a quote.

Yes if you have a specific timber requirement and we can source it we are happy to offer a free quote. Please note this will add approx 2 weeks to the lead time.

Yes if you give us enough notice and the lead time is achievable by our workshop we will book the courier in advance so that we can guarantee you delivery on your required day.

Yes we can supply these console table units in bulk, however the lead times may need to be extended depending on stock levels. Please email us with your bulk order request.
